Personally reading this book makes me loathe the author. I guess anyone can be an author these days. With constant bad grammar, punctuation, and ridiculous ideas with horrible reasoning I really can't wait to get rid of this book. It was recommended to me by several people, who were all surprised that I didn't like it. Not my cup of tea :) Someone please take this thing off my hands!

Not recommended. After the chapters on Billy Joel, soccer, Marilyn Monroe Vs Pamela Anderson, and the GNR tribute band, I gave up.

haven't actually read it yet as there are no copies available on mooch :( so just checked amazon & you can get a copy there for about $4.. on ebay they are starting at $3...must admit with about 400 people wanting it (on their wishlists) i am curious.. hadn't heard about it before, showed up in my recommendations on here... its getting savage & glorious reviews... am thinking i might need to buy one.. barely cost more than shipping is these days at 3-4 dollars...

This is such a fun book! Introduced to me by my best friend when we were in high school, the book is such a fun look into the opinion of pop culture of the time. The footnotes are just as fun to read as the book!
